いつもどこかの街角で音を奏でていたい―
そんな想いで2007年結成。
スティールパン・伊澤陽一、チェロ・薄井信介、ギター・菅又 -Gonzo- 健によるユニット。
ポルトガル語で街角を意味する「カントジフア」。
三人三様のオリジナル曲を中心に、スティールパン、チェロ、ギターによるトロピカルでクラシカルな心踊る街角サウンド。
2021年 1stアルバム『どこかの街角で』リリース。
2022年 2ndアルバム『J.S.Bach Goldberg Variations』リリース。
2025年 3rdアルバム『decolar』リリース。
2025年10月 ドイツにて演奏、好評を博す。

Always would like to make a sound in a street corner somewhere…
Formed CANTO DE RUA in 2007 with such thought.
The unit cosisting of Yoichi Izawa on Steelpan, Shinsuke Usui on Cello and Ken -Gonzo- Sugamata on Guitar. The name, CANTO DE RUA(Portuguese), has a meaning as Street Corner.
The band features original songs by each of the three members, as well as a tropical, classical, and uplifting street corner sound using steel pan, cello, and guitar.
2021, 1st Album “in the street corner somewhere” released.
2022, 2nd Album “J.S.Bach Goldberg Variations” released.
2025, 3rd Album “decolar” released.
2025 Oct. performed in Chemnitz, Germany.
